Industrial Applications

Zowl Labs engineers have more than 20 years of experience in computer vision solutions for the industry. Oftenly referred to as machine vision, it encompasses the technology and methods used to provide imaging-based automatic recognition and analysis for applications such as automatic inspection, process control, and robot guidance.

Machine vision at Zowl Labs covers a large number of technologies, software and hardware products, integrated systems, actions, methods and expertise. It attempts to integrate existing and new AI technologies in new ways and apply them to solve real world problems.

Main applications

Measurement of process variables

At Zowl Labs we specialize in developing robust machine vision applications dedicated to the heavy industry (e.g. steel manufacturing) in aggressive environments. We provide image based methods to measure complex processes in real time, from hardware to software to integration into local facilities.

Measurements in production lines

By means of artificial vision techniques, contactless measurements can be extracted from products issuing a production line. Even in hostile environments such as the steel industry.

Vision applications for robotics

Robotics are integrating more and more into the world, and that is possible thanks to the new techniques of artificial vision that allow us to interact with the real world.
Using AI techniques we can solve increasingly complex problems in the world of applied robotics, such as automatic learning, and distributed and collaborative decision-making.

Object inspection applications

Applications to quality control using artificial vision techniques were the forerunners of the use of this technology. Specially nowadays with new emerging AI technologies, uncountable opportunities arise in this field.
Beyond embedded industrial applications there is a new field of application taking advantage of automatic learning and AI. We apply these technologies integrating them to traditional applications.
